This Keto 7-Layer Dip is a low-carb twist on the classic party dip. Made with a flavourful taco beef base, creamy guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and fresh toppings, it’s a hearty dip that’s as delicious as the original, without the carbs.
Make the taco beef base. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Sprinkle the taco seasoning and salt over top and stir to coat. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer until the broth has evaporated and the meat is cooked through. Allow to cool before layering into the bottom of your serving dish.
Make the guacamole. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocado, lime juice, red onion, cilantro, garlic, and salt until smooth and incorporated. Spread the guacamole evenly over the base layer of taco beef.
Spoon the sour cream onto the guacamole and spread it into an even layer. Then spoon the salsa over the sour cream. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa in an even layer. Top with sliced black olives and garnish with green onion. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Serve with keto tortilla chips, low-carb crackers, and vegetables for dipping.
