Hi, I’m Amelia!

I’m a neurodivergent homemaker who loves honest food, American football, and staying in.

This blog is filled with personal recipes from my home kitchen. Dishes I’ve developed and refined using simple, honest ingredients you can trust. Here you’ll find easy, from-scratch meals made for real life.

Whether you’re looking for a game day snack, healthy dinner, or an indulgent treat, I hope you find something delicious and inspiring. It’s a joy to share these tried-and-tested recipes with you. I’m so glad you’re here!

Fun Facts

A little about me

  • I’m a high-masking, self-identified AuDHD (ASD + ADHD) homemaker. I love simplicity and find deep comfort in the quiet predictability of a well-crafted recipe.
  • I taught myself to cook in my parents’ kitchen while watching the Food Network. I’ve been developing, testing, and sharing recipes since I launched my first food blog in 2010.
  • Cozy, comfort food is my love language. I adore soft cinnamon buns and no-bake desserts. Lately I’ve been exploring simple gluten-free and refined sugar-free recipes made with natural, whole foods and honest ingredients.
  • Home is my happy place. I live on an island in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and son (and by son, I mean cat). When I’m not home, you can find me at the ocean or on lazy seaside drives in search of a cozy, quaint cafe.

About the Food

What’s cooking?

This is a living kitchen, shaped by curiosity, seasonality, and the real rhythms of my family life. The food you’ll find here reflects the season we’re in and what’s nourishing us along the way. From classic comfort food to low-carb meals, every dish belongs at the table.
