Tender and flakey puff pastry tart topped with whipped cream cheese, sharp red onion, salty capers, herby dill, beautiful ribbons of smoked salmon, and sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg wash.
Using a knife, lightly score a ¾-inch border around the edge of the pastry. Using a fork, prick the pastry inside the border.
Place the pastry on the parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the entire pastry with egg wash.
Bake for 15 minutes, until golden and puffy. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Gently spread the whipped cream cheese over the middle of the cooled tart. Arrange the smoked salmon over top.
Top with sliced red onions, chopped dill, and capers. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning and flaky sea salt.
