How would you describe your signature style?
My style is classic but with a bit of a twist to it, as I love combining old and new furniture with contrasting dark and light accents within a space. My ideal room would have quite a rustic look to it, but at the same time have that one piece to catch the eye, this could be through throwing in something patterned and colourful or furniture of a different style i.e. contemporary industrial etc. I love French rustic and Scandinavian design.

Where do you find your interiors inspiration?
I find a lot of inspiration in countries such as Morocco, France and within Scandinavia, but with young children it's harder to get away. I love Pinterest and Instagram and antique markets, such as Kempton, are amazing to find one-off treasures. Sometimes just browsing around exhibitions shops, hotels and restaurants fills me with inspiration too.

What makes a house a home for you?
Lots of soft furnishings that create a warm inviting space to relax and unwind. I also love having gallery walls, full of fun family pictures and memories to enjoy.

Do you have a favourite home piece?
I am loving our new pink velvet sofa, not only is it very comfortable, but it makes a beautiful statement in our blue sitting room.

Sunday – is it the start or the end to your week?
It’s the start of the week for me, I often sit down and make plans for the week ahead.

How often do you re-style your home?
I can’t stop, I’m constantly tweaking, moving things around and more recently decorating again, as its been over 4 years since we moved into our house which is when we did the initial works, so walls are starting to look a bit tired. I also love giving old furniture a new lease of life through upcycling - a new paint colour and handles can completely transform them.

What’s your favourite way to unwind?
A glass of wine, good curry takeaway, book or Netflix. Though, if I was being good I would say yoga.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Step back and learn to say no, you can’t take on everything.

What’s your favourite room in the home?
I love our lounge which is painted in Farrow and Ball 'Stiffkey Blue'. It’s such a cosy and inviting colour, a great place to retreat and relax in the evenings. Although we have got plans to reconfigure our kitchen, so that might change!

Describe your perfect Sunday.
It would be waking up at 9am, smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast, reading the papers, taking the dog for a long stroll with the family, Sunday lunch with some friends at a local pub then home to relax and prep for the week ahead.
